| Idaho Licensing Requirements
New Agent License
In order to obtain an Idaho real estate
license, one must:
- Be 18 years old
- Have a high school degree or GED
- Not have been convicted of a felony
- Complete the 45-hour Real Estate Sales
Pre-license Module 1 course and then the 45-hour Module 2 course
(register here) and pass an exam for each course.
- Pass a fingerprint exam
- Pass the state license exam (register
here)
Broker License
Once you have earned your real estate license, you might
consider earning your broker license. The basic requirements are:

Engage in "active real estate" for at least 2
years. Working 30 hours per week for 100 weeks in a 24 month
period with approximately 15-20 closed sales and/or listings resulting
in over $2 million in total sales volume meets this requirement.

Complete a broker education path. We teach Broker
Management, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Finance and Real Estate
Valuation & Analysis which fulfill the requirement (register
here).
Each class requires an exam.
